Ok.. I updated to Lion DP2 and my mdworker is going crazy like whenever I open Reeder for Mac it just goes crazy (see attached)

Does anyone know why this is happening. I have searched and I know mdworker is related to spotlight and its indexing but it never did this on DP1???

Resetting the Power Manager and PRAM

Resetting the parameter RAM (PRAM) when the computer is shut down also resets the Power Manager. The following process resets both the Power Manager and the parameter RAM.

I'm pretty new to all this stuff too so don't exactly know what to tell you but I did want to say something else.

I have 4.1 jailbroken with Limera1n myself. Was thinking of upgrading to 4.2 but with a possible 4.3 update VERY close, is it really worth the trouble?

You will need to backup all your Cydia apps too. Which can be a bit sticky from what I've read. I use PkgBackup but I've heard that it doesn't always work. Plus there is always the small chance that you might run into issues when Jailbreaking.

Those are the reasons I elected to skip 4.2 and will go straight to 4.3.

I am making an app that will basically consist of two views (it's very similar to the Contacts app). The root view is the main list of items. When the user selects an item, they are presented with a detail view for that item. The detail view consists of a categorized list. Each main item will have the same categories, but may have a different number of items.

So say you click on ItemA. ItemA would have 4 "Awesome Things" and 3 "Dumb Things".

Now ItemB may have 5 "Awesome Things" and only 2 "Dumb Things".

I would basically like to check the view... like:

if (item.name == "ItemA")

I'm kinda new to web design and I need help with something.

I made one of the flash photo galleries that CS2 makes. I want to get it into an already made html page. However, I can't seem to do this because the .swf file needs all these other files that PS made to go with it.

How would I do this? A frame?

I'm using GoLive btw.

Hi all,

I am trying to update from 4.2.1 to 4.3.2 for which I have both SHSH blobs saved for. It goes through the entire process, and then gives me an error 1013 that it could not validate my restore. It appears this is when it tries to contact Apple but it fails. However, this is the thing that TinyUmbrella should be handling (I have the TSS server started). TinyUmbrella has edited my /etc/hosts file to 127.0.0.1 for gs.apple.com.

I tried to use TinyUmbrella to "Exit Recovery" first... but when I did it gave me then Apple Logo for a while, and then I ended up back in recovery. Then I tried to do "Fix Recovery" ... it scrolled some text on my screen and then rebooted my phone... in to recovery mode again. After that, I tried "Exit Recovery" and it again put me back in to recovery. I am not sure what to do from here :\

I do not want to do a valid install of 4.3.3.

I am using HD footage, and yes it did come into my mind that it might be the overscan/title safe area. I suppose i will have to live with it, or try and shrink the image in FCP, but then if i do that it will come out fine on a tv but look silly on a computer. Thanks for your help, i will keep searching.

This is kind of gross. You don't want to criticize these corporate donations to charity, but it's a big game of misdirection as their charitable donations wind up being an actively manipulative red herring, drawing positive attention while at once gaming the system for corporate economic gain. Twisted. Where does the individual lie here? Fishing at the banks of the polluted waterway while the politician and the corporate chiefs enjoy a lovely charity fundraiser gala.

Folks - I am a newbie when it comes to the Apple products. I have had my iPhone4 since last August and just got the iPad2 on launch day. I hardly ever sync my iPad2 however i did when 4.3.1 came out and I noticed a lot of my apps for the IP4 are now on my IP2.

Is there a setting or something I am missing that I need to keep my app's separate between these 2 devices? I will start going through itunes to see if I see any settings outside of checking the boxes for the apps to appear on a device.

If there is a thread that outlines this somewhere that will work as well. I did a quick search but didn't find anything.
