Larry Fink inside Hollywood

Don't know about you, but I'm so bored of red-carpet shots. Who even cares? Everyone looks the same after awhile, they all stand the same, they all say the same thing, they all look the same (oh, said that already) - but it's true! The styling is so predictable, it makes me want to tear my hair out. My remedy is Larry Fink; the boss of candid Hollywood shots. These images are some of his 'Be Seen' work, and also some backstage fashion 'Preparation' photographs. SO much more awesome than looking at the same bird in the same dress on the same carpet. I love Stephanie Seymour looking so rock n roll perched on the bed, and Anjelica Huston smoking with the boys.

Irreverent Anna Wintour

I really love this! It's by Lisa Hanawalt. I think I appreciate it because I have a feeling Anna herself would get a kick out of it. I mean, following The September Issue, when everyone was on Team Grace and bagging Anna for being a hardened mag hag, I felt like the criticism was totally unjustified. Anna Wintour is a fashion/advertising/marketing/magazine genius... and if she was a man, no one would ever get up in her grill about her decision-making process. I could never get that at all - she's in charge of the most iconic magazine in the world folks; she is going to have to be the leader and make decisions. I've met male professors who were exactly 1,000,000 times more cut-throat than Anna appears in the film, and everyone tip toes around them asking their opinions on everything from art to how best to cook a pot roast :(
Plus, I really want to stand in front of a number of stores in the city, just wearing something outrageous and flipping the bird to all the indie freaks inside. Maybe I can find an Anna-esque wig to complete my homage.

Von - Dictionary

You may wonder now: What the hell Von - Dictionary is?

Well, don't know when it started to be part of Charlie's routine but my path with it began in mid January. I was chatting with this hillarious English girl on Twitter who was always able to find the perfect way to add a word related to Kat in almost every tweet. I found it fascinating.

One day I remember we were having a great time with the words, she, inventing them and me, trying to figure out the right meaning when Kat von D suddenly replied us adding a word by herself : Dont' forget Von Dork - she said.

In the same week I got an email from Karina who was wishing me a "katilicious" day and that made my day! So I think the Von- Dictionary was born accidentally, like the best ideas :)

The Powder Room

You'll be Tough to Replace

Spent many an existential crisis listening to this. Especially out the back of the family ranch; on the trampoline, with cigarettes and my faithful hound. My little dog, Bearsy, would cough at the smoke; but she stayed with me while we played this song on loop, and counted the stars, and dreamed about what we would do when we were 'well' again. I always believed it was written just for me. I still do.

New paparazzi pics at Il Sole L.A.

After it was known that Jesse is writting his autobiography and it's going to be released this year, they were shot by paparazzis on the 22nd Feb at night, after having dinner  at Il Sole Restaurant (LA)
Their wedding is near and there are new pictures almost every day. I just hope they leave them alone soon. It's a madness.
