Memories of the Past, Projects for the Future

It was June 22nd 2006 when Kat von D made one of her first attendances to an event covered by press worldwide. Katherine was 24 years old and she was filming Miami Ink then.

I wonder if this girl in the picture could imagine all that would happen. Probably not.
Looking at those pictures and thinking about it...  her fame is very recent and, on the other side, to me it's like she's always been there. The rocker chic we always wanted to be. (of course, she's more than that. She's an artist)
They say time passes fast. I don't know if it happens the same to you but to me it's like it was yesterday.
My thoughts go deeper than the appereance, because all of us change in 4 years. Furthermore, when you are very young.

The question now is the future.
I have heard much people in the past years assure that her fame was a question of 2 seasons of LA ink and then, fail. And they were wrong. 2010 seems to be much better personally and professionally than 2009.

I can't even guess her new projects for the next 4 years, but I am pretty sure we will talk about Kat von D at 2014 and that there are long term plans inside this beautiful head of hers.
In the spotlight or not, I have no doubt she'll continue her career as a tattoist. Who knows if as a professional photographer or hosting their own TV show too. Another TV show.

I don't think LA ink lasts much more seasons. In my opinion she is filming her last. After all, four complete seasons is long time in telly and reality TV is not something that someone wants to do for the rest of their lives. Even more if you are a talented artist that spends 24 hours of your day filming.

What do you think of the future of Kat von D? What do you guess she'll be doing at 2014?
