New Palettes and news for international fans

Attention to Kat von D make up addicts.

 

Two facts to be in mind:

 

Seen the new palette for next spring, It's gonna be called TRUTH and surprises the box is white, inspired by bones maybe? The design with all these old keys and light colours makes me imagine light colours in the inside, but we'll have to wait few months more to find out!

 

 

Kat is kicking asses to Sephora to bring her make up to Europe and much more countries. I think she'll finally end up convincing managers from Sephora that there is a potencial market outside the States that is anxious to try and buy her products. I hope she finally success!

1. the best from MAC = quality + pigmentation 
2. the best from Sephora = price + wellknown
3. the best from Kat von D = rock + authenticity

Time doesn't fade for Adora

Kat von D keeps giving big news via Twitter. Last one is about her best-selling make up brand by Sephora.  Last collection released this autumm, Adora, is lately announced to be permanent.

Seems that because of the great acceptation by customers, Sephora made a second thought about her new palette and lipstick. Audience and Kat herself, who never stop repeting her new Underage Red from Adora's collection is her best lipstick so far, have been pushing the big mall to make this desicion.

Cheapest lisptick tip!

Kat von D signature look is red lipstick. But how to get the red that made her lipstick so desired?

This is the result of my fave cheapest mix:

God knows that I'd love to enter to my local Sephora store and try all her make up. When you live in a country without her makeup and you can't afford MAC because you work in a shitty job, there's only one option for you:

Use your imagination

- First, apply  a bit of concealer to make it last longer.
- Then, Sephora Lipstick Maniac 12 Champs Elyses. A creamy reddish chocolate brown.
- Right after, Sephora Lipstiac Maniac Mat 9. A very dark wine red.

The combination of this two lipsticks is an rich dark red Kat von D looking like, I guess.

If you want to make it last even more, apply Sephora nano lip linner right after the concealer and before you apply the lipstick. Depends on what finnish look you like, reddish or darky, apply to the whole mouth: 20 -real red- or 11 - beau bourdeaux -
This will allow you to eat and drink without worrying of your lips :)


I haven't tried Lip Attitude - Glamour by Sephora, but 13 looks so gorgeous!

Awesome Book Packaging for Sephora.

Tattoo Chronicles following up for top seller High Voltage Tattoo is soon to be released and Kat von D surprises fans with awesome beauty sets for Sephora.

Instead of a simple box, Kat made a product that looks like a book.
Two different books with make up inside. Is there any better for a beauty lover like this?
By now, only lipstick set is avaliable.

The first beauty book is avaliable now and it's called: Amor Vita.

The book contains six mini Painted Love Lipsticks from nude to dark red:

• Rosary (pale pink)

• Celebutard (mauve pink)

Spend $28 instead of $60!


Second book is called Tattoo Chronicles Palette - Volume 1 ($180 Value- cost $55) Does it mean there is more to come? - I hope so!
Soon is going to be avaliable in stores.

Venusta Impetus in the cover but no colours of Adora collection inside. However Kat included 12 shades, 3 primers (Skin, Stellar, Smoky), 1 pair of false eyelashes and two mini rollons of her last fragances, Saint and Sinner.

If it was avaliable on my country I defenitively would celeb a kind of pre-Christmas with a set like this one.

A huge crowd was waiting for Kat in NY yesterday night (Sept 10)

According to Sephora's Blog Kat Von D and ¡ Dan Smith created designs live in the windows at Sephora 5th Avenue.

Adora collection was lauched and her fans got an exclusive reading from the soon-to-be-released The Tattoo Chronicles!

Many of her fans got a chance to meet her in one of the biggest shops of Sephora in the world, Sephora 5th Ave.
Meanwhile, the rest of us have to wait a couple of months for the book signing Tour.

Tattoo Chronicles release is on 26 Oct and the Tour starts on the same day in NYC

Kat attends to Vogue Fashion Night

Kat is ready to go to NY right now (via Twitter) to attend Vogue Fashion Night Out this weekend. Tomorrow, to be exact. Other cities will hold the event too, such as Madrid.

This time, she's not going to be accompanied by new boyfriend, Jesse James. Kat oftern takes one of her tatoo team boys to the red carpet. Once Corey Miller and G-Spot, this weekend Dan Smith, High Voltage Tattoo, is going to be inmortalized with her.


Dan Smith is the only tattoer from High Voltage appearing in the show. The rest of the guys  from the shop don't take part of the script. 
Kat and Dan gave an awesome interview at Carlson Daily this summer.

"Adora" keeps adding more items!

Adora is going to be lauch this fall, but this month Sephora is going to start to sell the make up products (eyeshadows and lipstick).

Today I received an alert from Sephora announcing another item:

Adora Traincase

Kat Von D describes the hand-sketched exterior design as her picture of beauty: raw, romantic, and tragic—but most importantly from the heart.

Adora exterior is adorned with butterflies and a Latin word : Libertas (freedom).
Its price, $150.

First case, Pandora, was released by the time her previous fragances, Saint and Sinner, where lauched.

Get Kat's Smoky Eyes with Adora Palette

The smoky eye is so cool when done right, but can be difficult, and it looks like a totally mess when it’s done wrong.

Preorder "Adora" by Kat von D: Make up and Fragance

Sephora has recently introduced the brand "Adora" by Kat von D in their website.

As announced one month before, Adora is her third fragrance following up on Saint and Sinner last year and it's gonna be lauched this fall.

It's the first time Kat von D has created a label based on the name of one product.

The Adora  Collection consists in Fragance (1.7 oz  and roller - ball 0.33 oz) , a limited-edition makeup collection comprising True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Adora and Adora Painted Love Lipstick.


This time products are based on black/ red instead of black /white design.


Adora's perfume bottle design is the same that her previous Saint and Sinner. Inspired by nouveau artist (Alfonso Mucha), the solid black bottle's side panels are decorated with original sketches of whimsical features, flowers, and butterflies, in a captivating red ink.

Sure you don't have many black bottles :)

Rollerball seems decorated by butterflies instead of roses but I can't see it well.

Fragance is described as :

Adora means "Beloved One" in Latin. For Kat, Adora reflects the next chapter in her personal evolution—an introspective renaissance discovered through deep layers, stories, and scars. She's a romantic soul with an edgy exterior. Adora is a sensual and passionate perfume journey—unexpected and provocative. This scent reveals a stirring glimpse into an enigmatic life…tortured, beautiful, and brutally honest. At the top, crushed juicy notes of lychée and boysenberry intertwine with thyme and a crisp shot of cassis. While Saint and Sinner complemented each other being the two sides of every woman , Adora's style is described as Passionate. Soulful. Complex.

Eyeshadow Palette is described as:

A smoky eye adds an instant air of mystery—create your own, from angelic to devilish, with the Adora Eyeshadow Palette. As her other palettes, it has 8 colours. Three come in cream and other three in powder.
The lid has a Latin sentence " Venusta Impetus" meaning "Kind Attack"

Lipstick colour is one of her fave reds.

Painted Love Lipstick takes Kat's signature lip color, a sophisticated red, and expands it into a range of smoldering shades, from crimson to blood red. The sleek black tube is stenciled with passionate red roses and speaks to a romantic soul, with an edge.


Prices: $16 and $55 for the 0.33 fl. oz. rollerball and the 1.7 fl. oz. eau de parfum; $34 for the palette; $18 for the lipstick. All available exclusively at sephora.com
