Signed merchandise at HVT

Due to the large amount of requests for signed merchandise by Kat Von D I got Kat to sign a bunch of copies of her book The Tattoo Chronicles and High Voltage Tattoo the book.

Also, for those of you who already own both her books she also signed all three versions of the Element skateboards she designed for Bam Margera.

So now they can sell on eBay... Sorry to be a bit pessimistic now but it drives me nuts to browse eBay sometimes..

If there's something that upsets me the most is the people that waits hours in a long queue to be signed for getting money selling autographs online.

New, unreaded and signed are words that work like neon lights: The book you will receive has only been opened at the signing event

Let's pay attention to this one too: "Kat von D 's new book will be released on October 26, 2010.  I will be getting signed copies."

I hope fans recognize sellers like this and boycott them during the Tour.

New Cover or FAKE editions?

Browsing and searching at eBay I 've found 11 High Voltage Tattoo ads with suspect covers. Let's take a look.

This is the official book

 This is  the cover from several books sold in eBay, basically from UK and German sellers

For instance, an ad with what I consider a fake cover
 

Unless Kat von D herself confirms that this book is Official too, I advise not purchase it.
eBay is a great place to make deals and buy things not avaliable in your country but many fake merch is sold there. Watch out and be careful.

-- After few months, the cover is confirmed to be a 2010 edition of the book.

Los chicos de HVT tienen buenas notícias para nosotros.
El equipo está trabajando duro para lanzar próximamente las webs KatVonDmerch.com y HighVoltagetattooMerch.com.

Me pregunto si seguirá habiendo merchandising en Bandmerch.com cuando estas webs estén activas. Mientras tanto nos abren boca con estas fotos del nuevo material.
Es bonito ver como no sólo Kat sino todo el equipo de HVT se ha involucrado en el proyecto. ¡Eso es lo que yo llamo trabajo en equipo!

Guys from HVT has great news!!

The HVT crew is working hard on  merch websites KatVonDmerch.com and HighVoltagetattooMerch.com.

 

I wonder if merch is going to be availiable through Bandmerch.com when those webs are launched. Meanwhile, here we have some pictures of their new stuff.

It's so nice to see how to guys are co- working so well and it's not only Kat who is involved in this project but all the crew. That's what I call team work!
