I found this article last month and I had no idea where I had organized my files...

The Backdoor Magazine is an american rock lifestyle mag quite recent. They started publishing back in 2009.
On May, they have started a new column called "Stealing Styles" featuring Kat von D.

I am proud to introduce you and article that not only says nice words on her, but sets her as a new incon.

Let me introduce you the first lines and a tip of advice from the entry:

When it comes to dressing brutally tally sexy, the award definitely goes straight to the slender tattooed arms of Katherine Von Drachenberg, a.k.a Kat Von D.

Descubrí este artículo el mes de mayo y todavía no sé cómo, lo olvidé en una de mis carpetas en el ordenador.

The Backdoor Magazine es una revista americana dedicada a la música y el rock and roll bastante reciente. Estrenaron la columna de “Robando Estilos” con Kat.  

Me enorgullece poderos presentar un artículo que no sólo habla bien de Kat von D, sino que la define como un icono. 
Pronto os colgaré la traducción, que he visto que no la tengo guardada.

No voy a revelar mucho, sólo el principio de la entrada y uno de sus consejos:

Kat von D and Ville Valo @ Inked , Feb 2010 issue.

Kat von D covers Inked, a monographic number that interviews artists related to her as Ville Valo.

Cool interview that shows the great friendship they have, how they met, new projects " I've said Kat I'm her canvas", confirms that his new tats were done by her (see related post), how he erased his finger tattoo by burning his skin with a cigarrette ...


If you wonder how they met together, Ville explains:

VILLE: " One of my mates [Bam Margera] told me about Kat , and I didn't know her work at all, but we set up a date at the Rainbow. The funny thing, we were sitting next to one another for 90 minutes before noticing each other. Neither of our cells were working and then I just heard a friend of hers say " Hey Kat", and I thought, Of fuck , she's been sitting here the whole time!"

On the other side, Kat is a bit frustrated with the last season of LA ink, about the departuring of Hannah and Kim..She angry with the fact that network focused the show on the drama.
Soon we will watch the 2nd part of this 4th season.
