Kat von D hosts LA art show 2011

Kat von D attended yesterday night at 16th Annual Los Angeles Art Show Opening Night Premiere Party - Arrivals

She started the day early, woke up at 4am to start promoting the event, giving interviews... Her gallery Wonderland supported with Kevin Llewelyn mind-blowing art.
The opening night was hosted by her! Here you can see the teaser

LA Art show not only is a great interantional exhibition but also supports The Art of Elysium, a non-benefit co that helps children battleling diseases. The ngo encourage  musicians and actors to be volunteers and work  with them.
Kat is very close to their cause and gets involved in as many projects as she can, rescheduling her busy agenda for the children.

Again, Kat looked gorgeous matching her blue hair and nails  with a sexy stripped jacket and. I'm almost sure  she has been seen wearing it before. Last year I guess.

Kat and Art: Kevin Lewellyn

A comment on Twitter drived me to enjoy Kevin Lewellyn's art. a stunning californian artist.

If you want to know more about this brilliant artist, read the articled published on Inked Mag (Kat's Feb issue). His website provides an interesting biography also.

His arts reminds me Nikko Hurtado. Michael Hussar. Kevin is more realistic but both share this obscure art in the whole painting.

What shocked me the most is to finally found out who is the author of one of the paitings that got my attention the most, at High Voltage walls. Every time I watched an episode, I wondered who had painted it.

A kind of Virgin Mary meets Jeffee Star.
This is Kat von D's collection.
Warning: Some images may hurt kids sensitivity.

And, the last one, the most intriguing of all. Kat dressed as a noon with praying hands tagled up by many rosaries.

Michael Hussar.
