Dita von Teese wanted a star in her face

At times these girls has more in common than one could have never suspect.

Although Dita von Teese is probably one of the women (and celebs) with the most beautiful pale skin, she has been a tattoo lover since her youth.
Even more, what it comes to portraits, she asks for people do deep research before tattooing a portrait. Since she has seen many fans showing her not very good artworks inspired on her.

Dita had second thoughts about tattoing and instead of becoming a kind of rockabilly, she is a vintage alive. I consider her a brilliant and intelligent woman who can be called a "myth" without any doubt.
Despite we live in 2010, in many countries her art is banned as pornographic.
Burlesque is not stripper, ladies and gentlemen.
Someone can tell me when we are all grow up, mentally, spiritually, open-minded and everything between?

Returning to the topic, Dita, in her research for turning a real pin up, had a wish to come true.

Some of you may heard it before, but not many people knows that Dita von Teese mole is actually a tattoo.
Nobody goes in there asking for a beauty mark. You have to understand that I was pretty eccentric. I was always drawing hearts and stars in that spot. I went in thinking I wanted a star there, but they wouldn't do it. They were like, "We're not putting a star on your face."

Dita von Teese mole is a tattoo!

I had no idea.. I though it was fake but not a tattoo!

Source http://tattoosdayuk.wordpress.com by Mel Roberts: I bet a lot of you had no idea that Dita Von Teese has a tattoo. It’s clearly visible and everyone who knows who she is has seen it. Stop straining your eyes looking at the picture, I’ll just tell you- you see the mole on the side of her face she’s so famous for? That’s a tattoo!  I really love Dita’s use of tattooing her mole on instead of having to draw it on every day, it kind of makes tattooing useful in it’s own way
