Ankle Straps
I'm not a flats girl. I wish I was, because I really think that on a perfect pair of feet and legs, flats look damn chic. But these ones by Valentino are so perfect because of the magical ankle straps.
Ankle straps are definitely my favourite thing in the entire sartorial world.

This is such a fabulous campaign! I love it so much - it reminds me a little of Deborah Turbeville's photographs. See what I did just then? That's called finding a 'historical narrative'. Yepppppp, I could wax lyrical about that here and bore you all to tears but luckily for you I have to go do it some more in Chapter 2.
